Una, December 22 - Giving information, Lieutenant Colonel SK Kalia, Deputy Director of Military Welfare Department, Una, said that the last date to apply for the Prime Minister Scholarship Scheme was till 30th November. But due to some reasons many ex-servicemen were not able to apply for it within the stipulated time. In such a situation, the Kendriya Sainik Board has decided that the website for this scheme will be reopened from January 1 to January 5 so that the left out ex-servicemen can apply for this scheme. He said that the Prime Minister can apply for the scholarship online by visiting the Kendriya Sainik Board website www.ksb.gov.in. He said that if any problem arises then contact the District Sainik Welfare Office on telephone number 01975-226090.
