
Meeting of Congress workers held.
Kurali, May 28- A meeting of Congress workers was held under the leadership of District Congress Committee President Ranjit Singh Jeeti Padiyala at Nanherian village of Kharar constituency. During the meeting, the anarchy and anti-people policies going on in the state were opposed, and the Congress workers and villagers present expressed their anger on the issue. The meeting also discussed local village issues as well as the law and order situation deteriorating day by day in the state.

Addressing the meeting, Ranjit Singh Jeeti Padiyala said that the people of Punjab are feeling insecure today. Youths are being pushed towards drugs, crime is increasing, and sectors like education and health are being ignored. He said that instead of providing facilities to the people, the government is insisting on suppressing their voice and is giving priority only to its own selfish interests.
On this occasion, Sarpanch Jagtar Singh, Panch Gurmel Singh, Tarlochan Singh Nangal, Bittu Suhali, Sukhdev Singh, Bahadur Singh, Sangat Pal Singh, Kulwinder Singh, Bant Singh, Satnam Singh, Ajit Singh, Darshan Singh, Karam Singh, Karnail Singh, Ranjit Singh, Jarnail Singh and Iqbal Singh besides a large number of villagers were present.
