SAS Nagar, October 22, 2024: Sports swimming during the state level games under 2024 of Games Watan Punjab which is being conducted from 21.10.2024 to 24.10.2024 at District SAS Nagar Sports Bhavan Sector-63 as per the instructions of Deputy Commissioner Ms. Ashika.
 Today, on the second day of these games, the chief guest was Mrs. Damandeep Kaur, PCS (SDM), from the office of District Sports Officer SAS Nagar.
 The players were welcomed and cheered by the chief guest. Mrs. Damandeep Kaur SDM, Karnail Singh DSE. and s. Prabhajit Singh (GS) Kayking Knowing Association Punjab honored the winning players with medals.
 District Sports Officer Rupesh Kumar Begra said that more than 550 players from 19 districts participated in this tournament. To encourage the players participating in this tournament, lucky draw was also conducted today and among the players who got lucky draw are Ashish Singh from Amritsar district, Ansh Mehta from Hoshiarpur district and Anantvir Singh Gill from Sangrur district.

Sports Swimming U-14 (Boys):
50m: Breaststroke: Prabhanur 1st, Arnavjit 2nd and Sehabdeep 3rd.
50m: Freestyle: Paramraj Singh won 1st place, Gaurav Kumar 2nd place and Vishu Kumar 3rd place.

Under-17 boys
200m: Freestyle: Jujhar Singh Gill 1st, Harsit Singh 2nd and Armaan 3rd.
100m: Breaststroke: Arjun Lakhanpal Singh 1st, Rabir Lakhanpal 2nd and Samuel 3rd.

Under-21 Boys:
100m: Breaststroke: Ramrinder Singh 1st, Monu 2nd and Sandeep Rana 3rd.
200m: Freestyle: Lakshe Jindal won 1st place, Rajveer Singh 2nd place and Mudit Sarman 3rd place.

Under 21-30:
200m: Freestyle: Anmol Jindal won 1st place, Munis Kumar 2nd place and Pirans Dhimal 3rd place.
100m: Breaststroke: Sartaj Singh 1st, Abhinit Singh 2nd and Rohit 3rd.
