New Delhi. A loud explosion took place near the CRPF school located in Prashant Vihar area of the national capital Delhi on Sunday morning. The sound of this explosion spread panic in the entire surrounding area. This explosion was very loud, which caused a lot of damage to the vehicles and shops parked nearby. However, it was fortunate that no person was injured in it.

Taking this bomb blast seriously, Delhi Police has sealed the entire area by putting up barricades. Apart from this, the FSL i.e. Forensic Science team of Delhi and the bomb disposal and investigation team of NSG, under the leadership of the officials of the investigating agency NIA, are investigating the causes of this blast.
The investigation of this bomb blast has come to a halt on white powder. The investigating officials suspect that this blast was carried out through chemicals like ammonium nitrate and phosphorus. According to sources, the investigating agencies have found a packet of white powder near the blast site. A white powder-like chemical was also found on the nearby wall. The officials have collected it and sent it to the lab for further investigation. Apart from this, the FSL team has also found some pieces of wire near the incident spot. In such a situation, it is being investigated whether these wires were used for the blast.
The Delhi Police is currently collecting mobile network data so that the people present nearby at the time of the blast can be identified. It is suspected that a country-made bomb was used in the blast. A Delhi Police official said, 'It is some kind of explosive or something else... it will be known only after the investigation is completed. We suspect that the cause of the explosion could be a country-made bomb.'
Hearing the sound of this explosion, people of the area came out of their homes and shops. Shashank, an eyewitness to the blast, told news agency ANI, 'Initially we thought that a cylinder might have exploded or a building might have collapsed... There was a huge cloud of smoke here, which lasted for about 10 minutes.' Along with this, he said, 'The police reached here within 5 minutes, as the crime branch, police station and district court are nearby. It is good that no one was hurt.'
Rakesh Gupta, who lives nearby, said that people came out of their homes immediately after the blast. Gupta said, 'We are very confused about what has happened. Police teams are investigating.'
