Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, October 15, 2024:- Additional District Magistrate Viraj Shyamkaran Tidke, exercising powers conferred under Section 6 (1) (e) of the Punjab Travel Professional Regulation Act-2012, cancelled the licence of Bansal Immigration and Travel Consultants firm.
Additional District Magistrate Viraj Shyamkaran Tidke informed that Bansal Immigration and Travel Consultants Booth No: 120-121, Basement, Phase-9, Mohali, District Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, Proprietor, Lavish Bansal son of Vishal Bansal, House No: 1411 resident Phase-10, Mohali, District Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar was issued Licence No: 400/IC, dated 30.07.2020 for consultancy work. This licence is valid till 29-07-2025.
Additional Deputy Commissioner informed that as per the report of Sub Divisional Magistrate Mohali, the address of the said firm is not correct, Booth No: 120-121, Basement, Phase-9, Mohali and as per the report of Tehsildar Mohali, the residential address was found to be closed.
License No: 400/IC dated 30.07.2020 was suspended for 90 days by letter dated 02.11.2023 keeping in view the report of Sub Divisional Magistrate Mohali and Tehsildar Mohali. And by issuing letter dated 07.11.2023, the licensee was given 15 days time to clarify his position.
As per the report of Sub Divisional Magistrate Mohali and Tehsildar Mohali, the license is suspended due to non-submission of monthly reports and advertisement information by the licensee, non-compliance of the conditions of the license, non-response/explanation to the notice and closure of the office. As per the report of Tehsildar Mohali, the licensee has violated the provisions of Section 6(1)(e) of the Punjab Travel Professional Regulation Act-2012 by not renewing the license and by not finding the applicant and office at the office address and residential address.
Therefore, in view of the above facts, Shri Viraj Shyamkaran Tidke, IAS, Additional District Magistrate, Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, in exercise of the powers vested under the provisions of Section 6(1)(e) of the Punjab Travel Professional Regulation Act-2012, has cancelled/cancelled the license No. 400/IC dated 30.07.2020 issued to the firm Bansal Immigration and Travel Consultants with immediate effect.
Apart from this, as per the Act/Rules, if any complaint etc. is received against the said company/firm/partnership or its licensees/directors/partners of the firm, then the said company/director/partner/licensee will be responsible. And will also be responsible to compensate it in every way.
