
Poetry singing and dance competitions of differently abled students were organized in PD Arya School.
Hoshiarpur- Divyang Vyakti Kalyan Society celebrated its sixth foundation day in the memory of late Jaspal Singh. On this occasion, dance and poetry singing competitions of differently abled students were organized in PD Arya School, in which students from all four blocks of the city as well as Atma Sukh Atma Dev and Asha Kiran School, where differently abled students of sports participated in dance and poetry singing competitions.

On this occasion, Principal of PD Arya School, Timtni Ahluwalia welcomed the guests. The program started by lighting the lamp by Professor Pooja Vashisht, Principal Pallavi Pandit, Principal Timtni Ahluwalia and Dolly Cheema. On this occasion, differently abled students impressed the audience by showing their unique talent.
In the poetry singing competition, Yashwar Government Primary School Railway Mandi Hoshiarpur secured first place, Ruhjeet Government Primary School Railway Mandi secured second place, Vivek Sharma Atma Sukh Atma Dev School secured third place. In solo dance competition, Manveer Singh Government Primary School Manjhi got first place, Sahil Singh Government Senior Secondary School Pipalanwala got second place and Amanjot Government High School Pandori Bibi got third place.
In group dance, Asha Kiran School Jahan Khelan got first place, Government High School Kamalpur got second place and Government High School Nara got third place. Omkar Singh and Madam Praveen Sharma played the role of judges, chief guest Parampreet Singh GA to DC and Satish Mahajan MD GSSL distributed prizes to the winners. Lecturer Priya Saini played the role of stage secretary.
On this occasion, society president Sandeep Sharma, general secretary Jaswinder Singh Sahota, secretary Neelam, cashier Raj Kumar, Garhshankar tehsil president Jaswinder Singh, Sukhjinder Singh, Rajiv Kumar, Naveen Sharma, Shivani Sharma, Subhash Chandra, Anju Saini, Nek Chand, Manoj Kumar, Jyotsna Angala, Manjinder, Neelam, Kiran etc. were present.
