Nawanshahr - First October is celebrated as National Blood Donation Day across the country Which is the birthday of Dr. JG Jolly, the father of blood donation movement in India. In this context a Voluntary Blood Donation Camp was organized like every year at the local BDC Blood Centre. The camp was inaugurated by Madam Rekha Jain with her lotus flowers.
Along with him on this occasion, SK Sarin, JS Gidda, Parvesh Kumar, GS Toor, PR Kalhia, Rajinder Kaur Gidda, Dr. Ajay Bagga, Dr. Dayal Saroop, Manager Manmeet Singh, Ma Narinder Singh Bharta, Yuvraj Kalhia, Narinderpal Toor, Mukesh Kahma, Malakiat Singh Saroa, Priyanka Kaushal, Bhupinder Singh Langaroa, Anita Kumari, Sunaina Sharma, Mandana and staff were present.
Before the camp, pledge of commitment to blood donation services was taken in which committee members, shubh chintaks, staff members and chief guests participated. On this occasion, Narinder Singh Bharata, Yuvraj Kalhia were nominated as advisors. The chief guest Madam Rekha Jain helped the organization financially. The chief guest was honored by the organization.
