
India-Bangladesh Test: India scored 339 runs with the loss of six wickets
Chennai, September 19- The first Test match between India and Bangladesh started at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in which India scored 339 runs against Bangladesh with the loss of six wickets on the first day. India got off to a bad start and the first six wickets fell for 144 runs, but Ravindra Jadeja and Ravichandran Ashivan brought India's score to a respectable level with an unbeaten innings of 195 runs.

India got off to a bad start and the first six wickets fell for 144 runs, but Ravindra Jadeja and Ravichandran Ashivan brought India's score to a respectable level with an unbeaten innings of 195 runs. Ashiwan scored a century at his home ground today. This is his sixth Test century. Ashwin scored 102 runs in 112 balls at a strike rate of over 91 which included 10 fours and two sixes while Jadeja scored 86 runs in 117 balls. Earlier, Yashshvi Jaiswal scored 56 runs in 118 balls with the help of nine fours. Rishabh Pant scored 39 runs and KL Rahul scored 16 runs. On the other hand, Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli got out with 6 runs each. India's opening batsman Shubman Gill could not even open his account. Hasan Mahmood of Bangladesh took four wickets. Hasan Miraj and Nahid Rana took 1 wicket each.
