On this occasion, keynote speakers Dr. Sangha Gurbaksh Kaur and Prof. Priyanka Rani Kanwar shared their views on Women's Day. While Dr. Sangha Gurbaksh Kaur threw light on the history of Women's Day, she also gave detailed information about the status of women in the present times and the rights and entitlements being made socially.
Prof. Priyanka Rani Kanwar said that Women's Day is a day to recognize and honor the important achievements of women across the world so that women remain aware of their existence while performing their duties.
Women's Cell Convenor Dr. Janaki Aggarwal thanked everyone and the cell felicitated the speakers. Dr. Harvinder Kaur conducted the stage. On this occasion Prof. Lakhvinderjit Kaur, Prof. Kanwar Kulwant Singh and the entire staff were present.
