March 3 Hoshiarpur- Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) final exams are underway, in such a situation, District Education Officer (DEO) Hoshiarpur Lalita Arora encouraged the students and stressed on preparing for the exams with confidence, positive thinking and without stress.
These things came to light during an important meeting with educationist, social worker and journalist Sanjeev Kumar. DEO Lalita Arora said that students should not consider exams as a burden but an opportunity to showcase their knowledge and abilities. She advised the students to stay calm, avoid panic and have faith in their preparation, because hard work and dedication always yield good results.
She also encouraged parents and teachers to encourage students instead of putting pressure on them. She said, "Students should be motivated and confident instead of being stressed. A supportive environment at home and school plays an important role in their studies." He wished all the students of the district the best of luck and said that their hard work will surely bring them success. He also emphasised that education is not just for exams but a lifelong learning journey. Students should focus on understanding concepts rather than rote learning. During the interaction between DEO Lalita Arora and Sanjeev Kumar, mental health of students during exams was also discussed.
They told the students about the importance of stress prevention, time management, relaxation techniques and balanced study-pursuit. Their encouraging words are expected to instill more confidence in the students now, allowing them to take their exams calmly, focused and confidently. The confidence-boosting messages students are receiving from teachers and social leaders are a reminder that success is not just about grades but based on hard work, learning and growth.
