
Member of Punjab State Traders Commission reviewed road widening to solve problems of traders
Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, January 20, 2025: Member of Punjab State Traders Commission Vineet Verma today along with GMADA officials visited the ongoing work in Phase 11 to solve the problems being faced by traders due to road widening from Phase 7 to 11. On this occasion, he instructed GMADA officials that the Bhagwant Mann government has constituted this commission to protect the interests of traders and the commission is committed to solve every problem of traders.

On this occasion, he instructed GMADA officials that the Bhagwant Mann government has constituted this commission to protect the interests of traders and the commission is committed to solve every problem of traders.
On this occasion, he asked the Market Welfare Association of Phase 11 to inform him about the problems being faced due to road construction near the light point of Phase 10 and Phase 11, asked GMADA SDO Akashdeep Singh present on the spot and the contractor working on the road to solve these problems. He said that the traders say that the pace of work is slow, so it should be expedited. Similarly, he asked the GMADA officials to sympathetically consider the traders' demand that like the market of Phase 3B2, a cut should also be made for their market falling on this under-construction road so that the approach road going to their market is not affected.
He also supported the traders' demand for immediate removal of the pile of debris in the market parking after construction and asked the GMADA officials to immediately remove the debris so that the traders do not face any kind of problem. On this occasion, President of Phase 11 Market Welfare Association Gurcharan Singh and Chief Advisor Dr. Satish Garg were also present among the traders.
