If we talk about cultures around the world, then our Punjabi culture is an ancient and rich culture Our mother tongue Punjabi is sweet and delicious Immaturity and brotherhood have been in our nature for centuries All our festivals are common to all without any caste, religion, caste, community like Dussehra, Diwali all Gurpurb, Vaisakhi and Lohri we all have been celebrating together since time immemorial.
Our folk songs and songs are associated with these festivals, rituals and our sorrows and joys. These are the reflection of the hearts and desires of the common people Our Punjabi folk songs are associated with our rich heritage, eloquently describing our small joys, achievements, grievances and grievances.
But the intellectual and sensitive class is expressing only regret about the era of singing and songwriting that we are going through today. The lyrics of poets like Nand Lal "Noorpuri", Prof. Sohan Singh, Shiv Batalvi seem to be lost somewhere in the noise of today's music. It has started to be considered necessary to include all kinds of drugs, all kinds of modern weapons in the lyrics of the song What Punjabi culture and heritage these songs represent, only the singers and their composers can tell.
But when a common man listens to this song, nothing comes across except the noise of modern instruments. Although we cannot include all the songwriters and singers in this category, but a large number are those who include weapons and drugs in their songs. Punjab hassda wavada is a rangala province created by gurus pirs That we have ever thought that where these songs are taking our youth and where else will they stop.
Today, in every news channel and every newspaper, the news of drugs and violence in Punjab is coming and being published This is a bitter truth We are responsible for this image of Punjab Has our singing flight and thinking in songs stopped only when we came to weapons and drugs The scope of our hearts, minds, thoughts and brains is very wide Let's abandon this narrow thinking and fly towards new heights of imagination This will secure the future of Punjab and our next generation
