Lord Maharishi Valmik, the author of the first epic of Sanskrit language, has the status of Adi Kavi. According to a belief, Lord Shri Ram Chandra appeared to him during the construction period. Mother Sita ji spent the last time of her life in his ashram. Luv Kush were born there. Valmik ji taught them music and scriptures. Taught them to sing Ramayana with melody and rhythm. Once Maharishi Valmik ji went to take a bath in the Tamsa river. His eyes fell on a pair of birds. While he was watching the birds, a hunter shot an arrow and killed the male bird. Seeing the death of her partner, the female bird screamed and gave up her life. Seeing this incident with the mute bird, Valmik ji's heart was filled with grief and anger and he recited the first verse.

The only fault of a 5-year-old child from a poor family was that he imitated the barking of an Emirzade's dog. This crime neither comes under animal cruelty nor can be included in the scope of 'honour killing' of a mature person. It is surprising what is happening to educated people, officers and politicians and in a modern and civilized city like Mohali. Chandigarh and its surrounding cities and towns have a large number of educated and employed people. All of them are familiar with child protection laws to some extent. Imagine if the educated people of advanced cities have this mentality, how much safer the children of slums and slums will be.

He stayed in South Africa from 1893 to 1914. He obtained the degree of Advocacy. He had to face racial discrimination many times in foreign lands. It was from here that the flag of the country's freedom rose in his chest and he emerged as an influential face of the Indian freedom movement.
