Haroli/Una, May 23 (Rajveer Chopra):— Just as in previous years, the annual 'Dahaja' event in Bathri village—located within the Haroli subdivision—concluded this year with great pomp, marked by deep reverence, faith, and traditional customs. A large number of devotees from across the region gathered at this religious congregation to pay their obeisance at the 'Chapri Wale Darbar' and pray for peace and prosperity. The entire village atmosphere remained steeped in devotion, and immense enthusiasm was palpable among the devotees.
During the program, the 'Dahaja Mandali' (troupe) led by Mulraj Dallewal mesmerized the devotees with their magnificent religious performances. Throughout the *bhajans*, *kirtans*, and religious rituals, the devotees appeared completely immersed in devotion.
On this occasion, Mukesh Agnihotri attended the event as the Chief Guest. Upon his arrival at the Dahaja venue, he was accorded a warm welcome by the organizers, Panchayat representatives, and local residents. Satpal Bhagat—the Chief *Sewadar* (caretaker) of the Baba Siddh Chano Ji Maharaj Dera (shrine) at Chapri Wala, Bathri—along with other villagers, honored the Deputy Chief Minister by presenting him with a *Siropa* (robe of honor) and a statue of Baba Siddh Chano Ji.
The Deputy Chief Minister paid his obeisance at the Dahaja venue and prayed for the well-being and happiness of the people of the state and the region. In his address, he stated that Himachal's religious and cultural traditions constitute our invaluable heritage. He noted that such events serve to strengthen brotherhood, unity, and mutual love within society. He further affirmed that the state government is continuously striving to promote religious and cultural events.
During the Dahaja festivities, a grand *Bhandara* (community feast) was organized for the devotees, wherein thousands of people partook of the *Prasad* (sacred food). The event was attended by numerous local public representatives, social activists, dignitaries, and a large congregation of devotees. Finally, the organizing committee expressed its gratitude to everyone for making the program a resounding success.
