Mahilpur- Under Punjab Shiksha Kranti, today MP Dr. Raj Kumar Chabbewal inaugurated the works done at Government Elementary Smart School Mehmowal at a cost of about Rs 13 lakh and said that the Aam Aadmi Party government has taken historic steps to improve the education sector in Punjab. Inaugurating the work of new rooms and boundary wall in Government Elementary Smart School Mehmowal, MP Dr. Raj Kumar Chabbewal said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, schools across Punjab have been transformed, due to which the infrastructure of schools has become better and more excellent than before.
He said that the Punjab government has started a new era in the field of teaching by training more than 400 teachers, lecturers and principals abroad, which will be very beneficial for the students in the current era of competition. While referring to the free facilities being provided to students in government schools by the Punjab Government, Dr. Raj Kumar Chabbewal said that the infrastructure of government schools is not only at par with private schools but every facility is being provided free of cost.
He said that the Punjab Government had arranged free educational tours for students of government schools of district Hoshiarpur to various parts of the country which would prove helpful in their all-round development. Regarding the shortage of teachers in the schools of Chabbewal constituency, he said that due to the recruitments being done by the Punjab Government, no school in the constituency would remain without teachers. He said that there would be no shortage of funds for the development of schools and to further strengthen the infrastructure.
