Hoshiarpur:- The pace of development in Chabbewal assembly constituency is continuously increasing rapidly. In this context, the work of constructing the Phirni road from village Bham-Jallowal to Bham-Saidpur road with cement-concrete is going on rapidly. MLA Dr. Ishank Kumar reviewed this construction work.
On this occasion, Dr. Ishank said that this road is being constructed 18 feet wide and its construction will cost about Rs. 1 crore 15 lakh. He said that since the road is being constructed with cement-concrete, it will be durable for a long time and people will get relief from many types of problems during rainy days.
He said that this was an old demand of the villagers, which is now being fulfilled. The poor condition of this road was in his notice. Rainwater was also drained through this route, due to which it quickly broke down. Earlier, permission was given for a normal road, but he tried to get this permission in the form of cement-concrete and he also achieved success in this. Today, as a result of these efforts, the villagers are going to get a permanent solution.
Dr. Ishank said that with the construction of the road, not only the villagers will get convenience in transportation, but there will also be great convenience in trade and agricultural work in the area. He instructed the concerned officials that the construction work should be done with full quality and as per the prescribed standards and no negligence of any kind will be tolerated.
A large number of villagers were present on this occasion.
