In this meeting, issues like regularizing the services of the workers of the water works of the Punjab Mandi Board who have been working for a long time and abolishing the contract system and inducting all the workers into the board were discussed.
In the ongoing meeting, State President Sathi Darshan Singh Lubana spoke to the Chairman of the Board Sardar Harchand Singh Burst and requested that the union be given time to meet to review and discuss the pending demands.
On this occasion, Harchand Singh Burst said that if the board is sent a review agenda of the demands, then a meeting time should be fixed for the discussion. Therefore, it was decided that the board management will be given the review agenda in the new format.
State President Darshan Singh Lubana, Punjab Mandi Board members Kuldeep Singh, Raju Singh, Krishan Singh, Gurinder Singh Guri, Ramesh Kumar, Harbhajan Singh Bhagwan, Pappu Singh, Satnarayan Goni, etc. were present in the meeting.
On this occasion, Kuldeep Singh Sangrur was given the responsibilities of the working president and Gurinder Singh Guri Bhadson was given the responsibilities of the assistant general secretary.
