Derabassi (Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar), September 06: Taking stock of the difficult situation created in the villages of the constituency due to continuous rains, MLA from Derabassi constituency Kuljit Singh Randhawa on Saturday visited several villages along with officials and interacted with the people about the situation.
Meeting the people at Jawaharpur village, MLA Randhawa said, “In this hour of difficulty, I and the government are standing with you. No family should consider themselves alone.”
He assured the people at Mukandpur village, “The government will make every effort to compensate you for your every loss.”
Talking to the people at Bijjanpur village, he said, “It is my responsibility to reduce the problems of the people. Your every legitimate demand will be conveyed to the government.”
In village Miyanpur, he directed the Tehsildar to prepare a damage report and said, “Only after a proper report of the damage is prepared, the affected people will be able to get immediate relief.”
Assuring the people of village Jioly, he said, “The government will give their due to every affected family and no one will be left behind.”
He assured the residents of village Kheri Jattan, “Stay strong, I am with you at all times.”
In village Punsar, he said, “Any kind of problem caused by rain will be resolved immediately by the administration.”
In village Rampur Bhaal, he said, “No lapse in relief work will be allowed.”
In village Samgauli, he told the people, “These difficult times will pass. We will all work together to solve every problem.”
In villages Fatehpur and Behra, he directed the officials to expedite the relief work and said, “No affected family should be left without assistance.”
MLA Mr. Kuljit Singh Randhawa concluded by saying that the safety and relief services of the people are the top priority of the government. He said, “I promise that I will stand by you at all times and you will get all possible help.”
