Una, August 23- Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri today (Saturday) along with his family members bowed his head in the world famous Mata Shri Chintapurni temple and prayed for the happiness, prosperity, good health and peace of the people of the state by performing the ritual of havan and puja. During this, his daughter Dr. Aastha Agnihotri and sister were also present with him. Along with this, Shri Agnihotri sought blessings from Mata Chintapurni for prosperity in the state, protection from natural disasters and strength to perform his duties of public service with full devotion.

On this occasion, Deputy Commissioner Jatin Lal and the temple committee honored the Deputy Chief Minister by presenting a memento.
The Deputy Chief Minister said that the construction and beautification work of the grand building of Mata Shri Chintapurni temple will be done with Rs 250 crore. For the convenience of the devotees, Sugam Darshan System has been implemented, which has improved crowd management and the elderly and the disabled are getting special facilities. Along with this, digital services like online langar booking and online darshan have also been started.
He informed that under the Prasad Yojana, an approval of Rs 56.26 crore has been given for Mata Shri Chintapurni Temple, which will strengthen religious tourism and spiritual heritage. For the purity of the traditional worship method, online training has also been provided to the priests of the temple trust from Banaras Hindu University in February 2025.
Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri said that the state government is fully committed to the preservation and promotion of cultural heritage. He said that the government is trying to provide better facilities to the devotees, bring quality in the traditional worship method and develop the temples digitally and systematically.
