Deputy Commissioner visits Oat Clinic, interacts with patients

Patiala, March 6- The atmosphere in the Oat Clinic built at the Tripari Community Health Center in Patiala became emotional when Deputy Commissioner Dr. Preeti Yadav, while talking to a person who came to get medicine for quitting drugs at the Oat Clinic, asked about the family, then the person standing at the front of the queue said that "My daughter has recently got a job in the Punjab Police and my son has also got a good job. The job my daughter got in the Punjab Police has motivated me to quit drugs."

While talking to the Deputy Commissioner, the patient who came to the Oat Clinic to get medicine said that he had become addicted to drugs due to family difficulties, but the jobs given to the youth by the Punjab government on merit without any recommendation have also given identity in the society by providing jobs to the children of ordinary people like us, now we do not want to tarnish this identity with the evil of drugs and have come forward to quit drugs of our own free will.
Patients who came to get medicine at the Oat Clinic while talking to Deputy Commissioner Dr. Preeti Yadav said that the 'War on Drugs' campaign launched by the Punjab government against drugs is a commendable initiative of the government.
