Deputy Commissioner participated in the 7-day NSS camp organized at Atal Bihari Vajpayee Government College, Bangana

Bangana, February 6 – Deputy Commissioner Una Jatin Lal participated as the chief guest in the seven-day National Service Scheme special camp being held at Atal Bihari Vajpayee Government College, Bangana. The program was inaugurated by lighting the lamp. On this occasion, he was honored by the college administration by presenting a shawl and cap.

Inspirational message for the youth-
In his inspirational address, the Deputy Commissioner stressed the need to encourage the youth in the right direction and said that if they get proper guidance, they can achieve significant success in their lives. Emphasizing on the balanced use of social media, he said that the youth should use it positively and constructively, so that they can achieve their goals by using their precious time properly.

Highlight on the importance of discipline and NSS-
Deputy Commissioner Una Jatin Lal made the youth aware of the importance of discipline and said that discipline is the key to success in life. Throwing light on the objectives of NSS, he said that this organization inspires the youth for unity, service and social welfare. Appreciating the social service work done by NSS volunteers during the Covid-19 pandemic, he said that such initiatives are extremely important for the society.

Appeal to stay away from drugs and adopt a healthy lifestyle-
Additionally, the Deputy Commissioner advised the youth to stay away from drugs and said that the tendency of drug addiction is a serious challenge for our society and awareness and self-control are necessary to prevent it. He called upon the students to adopt a healthy lifestyle and spread a positive message in the society.
Cultural presentations were also organized during the program, in which the participating students were felicitated by the Deputy Commissioner Una. On this special occasion, the Deputy Commissioner Una also performed the traditional "Nati" dance with the NSS volunteers, which created an atmosphere of enthusiasm and joy in the entire event.
On this occasion, the Principal of the college Ramesh Chand, Vice Principal Rekha Sharma, NSS Program Officer Sikandar Negi, teachers and a large number of volunteers were present.
