Kharar's Bajwa developer accused of selling land worth crores by forging signatures.

Mohali, August 20- Another case has come to light of a famous developer of district Mohali, who is involved in hundreds of cases of fraud in land transactions and is in jail, selling a person's land fraudulently. The victim has alleged that the developer has allegedly forged his signature and further sold his land worth crores of rupees.

The victim has alleged that the developer has allegedly forged his signature and further sold his land worth crores of rupees.
Addressing a press conference at Mohali Press Club here today, the victim Suchha Singh son of Sardar Ajit Singh, resident of village Raipur, district Mohali, said that he is the owner of 16 Kanal 2 Marla land in village Hasanpur, Tehsil and District Mohali. He had made an agreement for this land with Jarnail Singh Bajwa on 18.05.2015.
According to this agreement, the price of 1 acre land was fixed at Rs 3,35,00,000/- (three crore thirty five lakh rupees). For Rs 30 lakh in cash as earnest money, while the cheques given for Rs 70 lakh and Rs 1.25 crore bounced and this amount was also recovered by going to the court.
After this, an amount of Rs 1,10,00,000/- (one crore ten lakh rupees) was paid and no-due certificates were given, which cost Rs 81 lakh. Out of this, Rs 29 lakh is still outstanding. The no-due certificate had a provision to give 3 residential plots and a showroom in Sector 123, New Sunny Enclave. But Jarnail Singh Bajwa did not give them any plot or showroom.
Builder Jarnail Singh Bajwa got 16 Kanal 2 Marla and CLU layout and map approved from GMADA by making fake signatures and forged consent. Written applications were given to the police from time to time in this regard but no action was taken. In this regard, a written complaint was made to the Vigilance Department, and an FIR was registered against Jarnail Singh Bajwa under various sections 420, 465, 467, 468, 471, 120B in State Crime Branch Phase-4 Mohali, in which he has not yet got bail.
On coming to know about this wrong consent, a civil suit was filed by him in the Hon'ble Court Mohali against Jarnail Singh Bajwa and 10 others, in which the Hon'ble Court stayed any kind of construction and other interference till the decision of the case.
This matter is still pending in the court. He said that Jarnail Singh Bajwa fraudulently got some other Khasra numbers registered in his land plot, which is under stay. Similarly, a plot number 3118 has also been sold and construction is also being done in the plot in gross violation of the stay orders of the Hon'ble Court.
In this regard, a civil petition has been filed in the Hon'ble Punjab and Haryana High Court, Punjab which is still pending, the civil suit is pending in Mohali Court. Not only this, maps are being passed by GMADA without any investigation. Written applications have been given to GMADA to cancel the CLU layout and map of my land but no action has been taken yet.
Sucha Singh further said that now a false FIR of fight has been lodged against him and his son in Blogi police station and they are being pressured to compromise with Jarnail Singh Bajwa. In this regard, he has already given applications to higher officials but no action has been taken. Along with this, some persons have illegally occupied his land at the instigation of Jarnail Singh Bajwa.
Sucha Singh has demanded from Bhagwant Singh Mann government and DGP Punjab to stop the harassment being done with him and ensure compliance of the orders of the Hon'ble Court not to carry out construction. He has also demanded strict action against the above accused.
