Chandigarh, August 21 - Haryana Chief Minister Mr. Naib Singh Saini announced in the interest of farmers that to provide facility to farmers of 188 villages in 7 districts affected by recent heavy rains, floods and inundation to file crop damage claims, the e-Shatipurti portal will remain open till August 31, 2025.

Giving more information in this regard, the official spokesperson said that as per the report received from the concerned Deputy Commissioners, 85 villages in Hisar, 43 in Bhiwani, 21 in Rohtak, 17 in Palwal, 13 in Charkhi Dadri Vio, 7 in Rewari and 2 in Sirsa are affected. The portal has been opened for farmers of all these villages and farmers will be able to upload their crop damage information.
He said that the claims received on the e-Shatipurti portal by the District Revenue Officers will be verified as a special Girdawari and compensation will be released as per the prescribed norms on the basis of the assessment. The spokesperson appealed to the farmers to register their crop damage on the portal as soon as possible.
The spokesperson said that after the affected farmer registers the claim, the concerned Revenue Officers/employees like Patwari, Kanungo, Circle Revenue Officer, District Revenue Officer, Sub-Divisional Officer (Civil), Deputy Commissioner, Divisional Commissioner will assess the damage.
