Hoshiarpur:- Deputy Commissioner Ashika Jain has issued instructions to the district education department and said that in order to increase the registration of students in PM Shri School Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Falahi, all school heads and teachers should inform the students in this regard in a timely manner. She said that the education department should intensify awareness activities so that eligible students can take advantage of this opportunity.
She ordered the education officers that teachers of all government and aided schools running at the district level should give complete information related to admission in Navodaya Vidyalayas to their students and motivate maximum children to apply. She said that this initiative will not only help in providing high-quality education to the students but will also give a new direction to the educational progress of the district.
In this regard, District Education Officer (Elementary/Secondary) Lalita Arora said that the last date for online registration for admission to classes 9 and 11 in Navodaya Vidyalaya for the academic session 2025-26 has been fixed as 23 September 2025. She said that students who are currently studying in class 8 can apply for admission to class 9. Similarly, only those students who are studying in class 10 will be eligible for admission to class 11.
The District Education Officer also said that along with quality education, special attention is given to the all-round development of students in Navodaya Vidyalaya. Talented students from rural and urban backgrounds can give a new direction to their talent here. She said that this opportunity is especially beneficial for those students who want to get better education despite having limited financial resources.
She further said that the link for online registration is available on the official website of the department. Those students and their parents are urged not to wait for the last date and complete the application process on time. It would be advisable to register early to avoid any kind of technical problem.
