
Patiala Social Welfare Society celebrated Teachers' Day at Government Girls College.
Patiala:- The child's parents are the first teachers who educate the child from childhood. After that, the teachers in the school contribute to making him a good citizen by giving him knowledge and he reaches higher positions by studying and becomes a good citizen of the country. Patiala Social Welfare Society celebrated Teachers' Day at Government Girls College. In which MLA Shri Ajit Singh Kohli, as the chief guest, told about the important role of teachers in life and said that wherever we are sitting, they have an important role in making us good citizens.
Shri Ajit Singh Kohli, who came as the chief guest to honor the teachers, was welcomed by Principal Mrs. Rachna Bhardwaj. Mr. Ajit Pal Kohli said that the work being done by Patiala Social Welfare Society under the leadership of Mr. Vijay Kumar Goyal is commendable, we salute him, cloth bags are also being distributed to eliminate single use plastic.
On this occasion, Mrs. Rachna Bhardwaj, Principal Dr. Asees Singh, Mrs. Rachna Sharma, Poonam Sharma, Ajit Kaur, S.K. Khosla Retired Principal Mr. Vivek Tiwari, Principal DAV School, Prof. Sandeep Sharma, Prof. Sikander Kaur, Prof. Anila Sultana, Dr. Chetna Sharma, Mrs. Manju Bala (Physical Lecturer), Anil Khanna, Tajinderpal Singh Sandhu were felicitated.
Apart from this, Mr. Rajesh Verma Retired Principal who is also an artist was specially felicitated. Sanjay Dheer, Tarsem Saksham Gupta, Dr. Prashottam Goyal, Ajay Gupta, Meenakshi Dheer, B.S. Brar, Retired Principal etc. were present on the occasion. On this occasion, the society also provided assistance of Rs 10,000 to poor girls.
