Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, September 4: New medical officers recruited by the Punjab government during the flood disaster have given their presence at various government health institutions of the district. Giving information in this regard, Civil Surgeon Dr. Sangeeta Jain said that the Punjab government has made new appointments of medical officers throughout Punjab.

Giving information in this regard, Civil Surgeon Dr. Sangeeta Jain said that the Punjab government has made new appointments of medical officers throughout Punjab.
He said that 16 medical officers have been appointed in the district SAS. Nagar, out of which 8 medical officers have joined and the rest have also agreed to join very soon. He said that the appointment of these officers will help a lot in providing better health services to the people of the district.
He said that the flood situation is going on at present, due to which the appointment of these officers is very important. These officers have been deployed in the flood-affected or flood-prone areas so that the people do not face any problem in getting health services during the floods.
