
Haryana Governor Prof. Asim Kumar Ghosh paid obeisance at Gurudwara Nada Sahir
Chandigarh, August 31 - Haryana Governor Prof. Asim Kumar Ghosh paid obeisance at the famous Gurudwara Nada Sahib in Panchkula along with his wife Smt. Mitra Ghosh on Sunday and later inspected the Mother Teresa Saket Orthopaedic Hospital.

After visiting Gurudwara Nada Sahib, Governor Prof. Ghosh said that he has received great honor and fortune by visiting this historic and holy Gurudwara Nada Sahib. He also appreciated the efforts of the Gurudwara management for the upliftment of the poor and announced a financial assistance of Rs. 1 lakh for the needy.
During this, the Governor assured the committee of all possible support and appreciated the courage and supreme sacrifice of the Sikh community. The Gurudwara Management Committee honored Governor Prof. Asim Kumar Ghosh and his wife by presenting them with a crown.
Additional Deputy Commissioner Nisha Yadav, Deputy Commissioner of Police Srashti Gupta, Haryana Gurudwara Management Committee Chairperson Jagdish Singh Jhinda, religious leader Baljit Singh Daduwal, Gurudwara Management Committee member Swaran Singh Bagga Tabba, Gurudwara Chief Granthi Jagjit Singh and other distinguished guests were present on the occasion.
After this, the Governor visited Mother Teresa Saket Orthopaedic Hospital and inspected the medical services provided there. He appreciated the high-level medical services being adopted in the treatment of bone diseases, rehabilitation and trauma management.
The Governor got information about the medical tools, infrastructure and specialist services from the hospital administration and emphasized on strengthening outreach programs so that specialized bone disease care can reach the underprivileged sections of the society. He praised the dedication of the doctors and medical staff and assured all possible support from the Raj Bhavan to the hospital.
