
Appropriate themes and colors of arts will bloom in the Ghadri Babas' Fair.
Jalandhar- Preparations are in full swing for the 34th three-day fair dedicated to Ghadri Gulab Kaur, the valiant Ghadri of the Ghadar movement. A meeting of the Cultural Wing of the Desh Bhagat Yadgar Committee was held today to conduct the fair of Ghadri Babas in a very authentic style on 30th, 31st October and 1st November.

A meeting of the Cultural Wing of the Desh Bhagat Yadgar Committee was held today to conduct the fair of Ghadri Babas in a very authentic style on 30th, 31st October and 1st November.
After that, a meeting of the Board of Trust was held. Serious discussions were held on the art forms of the fair in these meetings. October 30 will be the Book Culture Evening: Names of banned books. In this session, departed litterateurs, writers, scholars will be honored in the session 'Friends, we should not forget, the memory of these friends is dear'.
The photo and painting exhibition will be inaugurated at 2 pm on this day itself. There will be quiz, speech, singing and painting competitions on October 31. The quiz competition will be on Harvinder Bhandal's book 'Fascism's Face, the Vanguard'. The topic of the speech competition will be 'Social Media and the Youth'. For category A of the painting competition, 'Palestine Genocide and Struggle', category B will have pictures of Ghadri patriots and especially Ghadri Gulab Kaur and group C child artists will create desired art works.
On the evening of October 31, there will be a Kavi Darbar and after that, a film show will be held by People's Voice on the struggle of tribals and Palestinian people. It is worth mentioning that there will also be discussions on October 31 and November 1. In which, apart from the committee members, Prabhat Patnaik and Dr. Swarajbir are also arriving.
On November 1, the committee members will discuss the topic 'Challenges to the Heritage of the Ghadr Movement'. The main speakers on November 1 during the day will be Mohammad Yusuf Tarigami and Dr. Navsharan. The flag hoisting ceremony will be performed by committee member Darshan Singh Khatkar and he will also deliver a message on the occasion.
After that, the flag song written by Amolak Singh and directed by Satpal Banga Patiala will be performed. It is worth mentioning that the preparation workshop for the flag song will be held at the Desh Bhagat Yadgar Hall. The entire night of November 1 will be a night full of plays and songs. The plays on suitable topics will be selected by the committee.
In this meeting, Desh Bhagat Yadgar Committee President Ajmer Singh, General Secretary Prithipal Singh Marimegha, Vice President Kulwant Singh Sandhu, Assistant Secretary Charanji Lal Kanganiwal, Finance Secretary Sital Singh Sangha and Convener of the Cultural Wing Amolak Singh and members of the Cultural Wing were present.
