The announcement was made during a significant press conference held at JW Marriott, Chandigarh. The event marked a significant turning point in the institution’s 25+ years of legacy. In its journey from a college to a technologically innovative, autonomous university, the leaders have determined to nurture the new generation. This transformation is a bold step towards an industry-connected education model. CGC University, Mohali is set to become the new hub of AI-led development, tech-first education and innovation in India. Where over 90% of graduates are considered unqualified for new fields, the institution’s curriculum is based on life-long industry experience and certifications created in collaboration with corporates. A 50:50 model of learning has been adopted here, where teachers and industry experts play an equal role. The aim is to prepare not just for jobs but for leadership.
