Patiala, February 6- Punjab State Food Commission Member Preeti Chawla inspected mid-day meal and Anganwadi schemes in government schools and Anganwadi centres of Patiala district. During this, Preeti Chawla visited Government Primary and Middle School Chengra, Government Elementary School Mohi Kalan, Government Middle and Elementary School Village Kheri Gurna, Government Middle and Primary School Village Gharam Kalan, Government Elementary School Village Nandgarh and Government Elementary School Lohand.
The Food Commission member also interacted with school teachers and children in Anganwadi centres and expressed satisfaction over the food being served to the children by the teachers. She said that sample testing of drinking water should also be done from time to time. On this occasion, she inspected the kitchens of the schools and checked the way ration is kept, on which she expressed satisfaction.
She also checked the food being prepared for the children and expressed satisfaction over the quality of the food. He also gave some important instructions to Anganwadi workers and supervisors as well as school teachers.
