Hoshiarpur- The three-day free artificial limbs and hearing aid distribution camp organized from 26th to 28th August at Sanjeevani Sharanam has brought new hope and self-reliance to the lives of brothers and sisters with special needs. This service camp was successfully organized in collaboration with Sonalika Group, under the Akhil Bharatiya Agarwal Sammelan, Punjab Pradesh and in collaboration with Bhagwan Mahavir Vikalang Sahayati Samiti, Jaipur.
The credit for the success of this service campaign goes to the visionary leadership of Sonalika Group Vice Chairman Dr. Amrit Sagar Mittal and the President of Akhil Bharatiya Agarwal Sammelan, Punjab Pradesh Shri Surendra Agarwal. Under their guidance, this event became more than just a camp, but a life-changing experience.
A total of 108 artificial limbs, 25 wheelchairs, 10 tricycles, 8 pairs of crutches and 163 hearing aids were distributed during this camp. Each beneficiary went back with not only physical support but also new confidence and hope for the future.
Mrs. Sangeeta Mittal, Director, Sanjeevani Sharanam, was present in the camp continuously for all three days and interacted with each patient individually. Her kind words and sensitive behavior deeply touched the hearts of the beneficiaries and instilled in them the courage and strength to look at life from a new perspective.
The dedicated team of the Artificial Limbs Team and Punjab Speech and Hearing Care also contributed significantly to the success of this camp. Dr. Surjit, Nek Ram and Sunil were the chief in-charges. Apart from this, General Singh Rana, Neeraj Manocha, Sangeeta Handa and the entire team from Sonalika Group Sanjeevani Sharanam provided commendable support by staying behind in a planned manner.
This three-day camp became an example of humanity and social cooperation. It proved that when leadership, service and compassion come together, lives truly change. This event became a source of pride and inspiration for Hoshiarpur.
