Kharar (Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar), 24 September 2026:- Under series of functions being planned by Punjab Government dedicated to 650th Prakash Purab of Shri Guru Ravidas Ji Maharaj 30 minute special documentary film related to life, ideology and great message given to society of Shri Guru Ravidas Ji Maharaj was shown through LED screen at villages Magar, Swara and Jhanjeri of Kharar block.
On this occasion people participated in large number and watched documentary with devotion and enthusiasm. Through documentary life of Shri Guru Ravidas Ji Maharaj and great works done by him to give message of equality, communal harmony, humanity and mutual respect in society were shown.
Sub Divisional Magistrate, Kharar Shri Gurmeet Singh while giving information told that this special documentary dedicated to 650th Prakash Purab of Shri Guru Ravidas Ji Maharaj by Punjab Government is being shown village to village, so that people especially young generation can become aware about life of Shri Guru Ravidas Ji Maharaj, his teachings and message of equality and humanity given to society.
He said that Shri Guru Ravidas Ji Maharaj through his Bani and thoughts raised voice against evils and high-low spread in society giving message to consider all humans equal and live with mutual love, respect and communal harmony. His teachings are even today source of inspiration for society.
On this occasion residents of villages appreciated efforts being made dedicated to 650th Prakash Purab of Shri Guru Ravidas Ji Maharaj by Punjab Government. They said that through documentary being shown through LED screen opportunity is getting to understand life of Guru Sahib and his great ideology in simple and effective manner.
During documentary people present also gave message to adopt teachings of Guru Sahib in their life and further strengthen feeling of communal harmony, equality and humanity in society.
