Quarterly meeting of the District Sainik Board held under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Komal Mittal

Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, June 09: The quarterly meeting of the District Sainik Board, S.A.S. Nagar, was held on June 09, 2026, under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Mrs. Komal Mittal. During the meeting, Group Captain Davinder Singh Dhillon (Retd.), District Defence Services Welfare Officer, S.A.S. Nagar, highlighted the ongoing activities of the department. He presented the office’s progress report for the period from April 01, 2025, to March 31, 2026, and briefed the members about various schemes being implemented by the department.
During the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner issued instructions to the concerned departments regarding the various issues raised by the District Defence Services Welfare Officer, ordering their resolution on a priority basis.
The meeting was attended by Mr. Baljinder Singh (SI, Police Department), Mr. Manjit Masih (Deputy DEO, Secondary), Mr. Harnek Singh (DEO, Primary), Mr. Jaswinder Singh (PUDA Office), Mrs. Surinder Kaur (Junior Assistant), Mrs. Kamaljit Kaur (Junior Assistant), and other office staff.
