Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, October 9:- Under the directions of the DGP Punjab and the DIG Ropar Range, Mohali Police has taken a unique initiative under the leadership of SSP SAS Nagar, Varun Sharma, IPS, to ensure public safety, smooth traffic management and a peaceful atmosphere in markets during the festive season.
As part of this initiative, SP City Mohali Dilpreet Singh held discussions with shopkeepers and market association leaders, listening to their problems and suggestions. Issues related to security arrangements in markets, parking, traffic, crowds and other public facilities were discussed in detail.
The SP City Mohali assured the shopkeepers that Mohali Police would make adequate arrangements to ensure the safety of the general public and traders during the festive season. He also stated that the concerned officers would be given the necessary directions to resolve the legitimate problems raised by shopkeepers on a priority basis. Mohali Police is making every possible effort to ensure a safe and peaceful atmosphere during the festivals through better coordination with the public and the trading community.
