Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, September 27:- As part of the events being organised by the Punjab Government to mark the 650th Prakash Purab of Sri Guru Ravidas Maharaj Ji, a special drone show will be held on Tuesday, September 29, at 6:30 pm at the Dussehra Ground located opposite Amity International School, Sector-79, Mohali. During this unique presentation, the great life, Bani and teachings of Sri Guru Ravidas Maharaj Ji will be presented before the audience through lights in the sky. Similar 500-drone presentations are being organised at various places in Punjab as part of the celebrations.
Deputy Commissioner Smt. Komal Mittal reviewed the preparations and arrangements for the drone show and assigned necessary duties to various district officials. She directed the officials to complete all arrangements well in time, keeping in view the convenience of the large number of devotees and people expected to attend, and ensure that no inconvenience is caused during the event.
She said that around 500 drones would take flight simultaneously in the sky and present unique visuals based on the life, Bani and great teachings of Sri Guru Ravidas Maharaj Ji. She said that the drone show would be a memorable experience for the devotees and residents of the area.
The Deputy Commissioner directed the district police to ensure adequate security arrangements during the event, smooth regulation of traffic and proper parking facilities. She instructed the concerned officials to complete all necessary arrangements related to crowd management and traffic well in advance.
She directed SDM Mohali Smt. Damandeep Kaur to coordinate with the concerned departments and ensure timely arrangements for clean drinking water, langar, seating facilities, medical teams, cleanliness of the ground and uninterrupted power supply, along with other necessary facilities for the spectators.
Meanwhile, MLA Shri Kulwant Singh appealed to the residents of Mohali to attend the special drone show along with their families and children. He said that the presentation would provide a unique opportunity to remember the great life and Bani of Sri Guru Ravidas Maharaj Ji and his teachings conveying the message of equality, brotherhood and social harmony to humanity.
