
Healthy Women-Strong Families Campaign Launched: A Unique Confluence of Health Awareness in Exhibition.
Chandigarh, September 17 - The Healthy Women-Strong Families Campaign was launched on Wednesday on the occasion of the 75th birthday of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. Union Health and Family Welfare Minister Shri JP Nadda inaugurated the exhibition by cutting the ribbon in the presence of Haryana Chief Minister Shri Naib Singh Saini at the Maharishi Dayanand University campus in Rohtak.

Union Health and Family Welfare Minister Shri JP Nadda inaugurated the exhibition by cutting the ribbon in the presence of Haryana Chief Minister Shri Naib Singh Saini at the Maharishi Dayanand University campus in Rohtak.
Haryana Health Minister Aarti Singh Rao, Cooperation Minister Dr Arvind Kumar Sharma, Irrigation and Water Resources Minister Smt. Shruti Chaudhary were also present on the occasion.
Union Health and Family Welfare Minister Shri JP Nadda said that the objective of this campaign is to ensure safety, awareness and better care of the health of women and children. The campaign has been scheduled from September 17 to October 2, 2025.
*Women's health-the power of the family was the focal point of attraction
The exhibition gave a glimpse of health services and schemes with motivational messages like healthy mother, safe child-the foundation of a strong society.
During the review, the chief guest Mr. JP Nadda and Chief Minister Mr. Naib Singh Saini took information about the TB Mukt Bharat campaign.
*Special focus on the eradication of TB disease
Through panels based on Nikshe Poshan Yojana, people were informed that nutrition assistance of Rs. 1000 per month is given to TB patients directly in their bank accounts during treatment. For this, the facility of verification and tracking through TB ??Arogya Sathi app and Umang app was also explained.
*Women got information about the prevention and treatment of diseases at the stalls
The stalls provided detailed information related to cancer screening, anemia control, thalassemia testing, high blood pressure, diabetes and TB disease. Also, messages like "You are the light of the whole family - get TB treatment and support your loved ones" attracted people.
During the exhibition, posters were put up on the nutrition campaign, which included points like balanced food for children, adolescents and pregnant women, importance of breastfeeding and anemia control. Informative posters, banners and stalls related to various departments and schemes were put up in the exhibition, in which detailed information related to the health, nutrition and awareness of women and children was given.
*Massive blood donation and health check-up camp organized
Under the initiative, emphasis was also placed on social participation along with health services. A massive health check-up and blood donation camp was organized on September 17, in which youth and voluntary organizations donated blood with enthusiasm.
*Special Vaccination Campaign (VHSND)
Special vaccination camps will be organized from 17 to 2 October under the campaign. Children from 0 to 16 years and maternal women will be included in these camps. Emphasis will also be placed on routine vaccination to ensure vaccination of all.
*Digital Health Initiative
A special attraction of the exhibition was the stall promoting 'I am a Digital Health Champion' photo frame and ABHA Health I Card. In this, information was given to the citizens about the facility of keeping their health records safe on mobile.
*Helpline and Health Services
At the exhibition, the health department officials told the women that for any health problem or assistance, Haryana Health Helpline 104 and Niksha Sampark Helpline 1800-11-6666 (toll free) are available 24&7.
Former Minister Mr. Manish Grover, Mayor of Municipal Corporation Rohtak Mr. Ramavatar Valmiki, Additional Chief Secretary of Health Department Mr. Sudhir Rajpal, Director General of Information, Public Relations and Languages ??Department Mr. K. Makrand Pandurang, Deputy Commissioner Mr. Sachin Gupta, MD of National Health Mission Mr. RS Dhillon along with other officials and other dignitaries were present on this occasion.
