SAS Nagar, January 13 - The purse of a woman Mahinder Kaur, a resident of MIG houses in local sector 70, was snatched by two unidentified youths on a bike and after the incident, both of them fled from the spot.

S. Baldev Singh (SDO Rita), husband of the victim Mahinder Kaur, said that his wife had gone to the Phase-7 market with her daughter and while returning was waiting for her daughter's car on the roadside at the Kasawoli food booth market. When suddenly two boys came on a motorbike and asked about Sector 49, they said they didn't know. Meanwhile, the boy sitting behind the motorcycle snatched their purse and dragged them on the road for some distance and escaped. He said that in the purse there were about 3 thousand rupees, Aadhaar card, PAN card, staff nurse's identity card and other important documents, house keys, cupboard keys were also there.
A complaint has been given to the police by the victim woman. The police is investigating the matter.
