
MLA Jimpa inaugurated tile work at Chowk Surajan at a cost of Rs 23 lakh.
Hoshiarpur- In the series of development works, tile work project was formally inaugurated at Chowk Surajan of Ward No. 40 of Hoshiarpur at a cost of Rs 23 lakh. This work was inaugurated by local MLA Brahma Shankar Jimpa.

On this occasion, Jimpa said that the condition of Chowk Surajan area was bad for a long time, due to which the common people were facing a lot of problems. Now this area will be made beautiful and well-equipped on the lines of Dabi Bazaar.
This will not only provide relief to the local people, but will also increase the charm of the market. MLA Jimpa gave clear instructions to the Municipal Corporation officials present on the spot that any kind of negligence in the quality of work will not be tolerated.
He said that the government is spending money in the interest of the people, so every project should be completed with transparency and strength. Jimpa said that necessary works like installing tube wells have already been done for the development of Suraj Chowk. Now after getting tile work and other facilities, this area will get a new identity.
During the program, the local people thanked MLA Jimpa and hoped that similar development works will change the face of the area in future. On this occasion, apart from Municipal Corporation Hoshiarpur Mayor Surinder Kumar, Deputy Mayor Ranjit Chaudhary, Councilor Pradeep Bittu, Councilor Vijay Aggarwal, Mohit Saini and Ajay Jain, many dignitaries of the area were also present.
