Mahilpur, April 22- During the special lecture series being organized under the guidance of Principal Dr. Parvinder Singh at Sri Guru Gobind Singh Khalsa College, Mahilpur, Dr. Dev Kumar, Head of the History Department, gave a special lecture on the biography and ideology of Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar.
On this occasion, Dr. Dev Kumar presented his views on the economic, social and political condition of Indian society during the time of Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar. He gave examples of Dr. Ambedkar's childhood, education and struggling life and presented his views on his contribution in the making of the Constitution. He said that Dr. Ambedkar was not only the messiah of Dalits but he was the guide of the entire humanity.
He shared information about the work done by Dr. Ambedkar to raise the standard of living of the oppressed sections of the society, farmers, women, laborers and other marginalized groups. On this occasion, Principal Dr. Parvinder Singh said that the dream of establishing a good society can be fulfilled only by learning as much as possible from the life struggles of great leaders.
On this occasion, Principal Dr. Parvinder Singh and the staff honoured Dr. Dev Kumar with special honour. The entire staff of the college attended the lecture.
