SAS Nagar, 07 April 2025: Education revolution started under the leadership of Chief Minister Punjab S Bhagwant Singh Mann has started a unique initiative in 12 thousand government schools of the state and this time the Punjab government has increased the budget in the education sector by 12 percent.
These views were expressed by SDM Kharar Gurmander Singh while inaugurating 02 classrooms built at a cost of Rs 15 lakh 02 thousand in 02 schools of the constituency, Government Primary School Kheda and Majri under Punjab Education Revolution. Market Committee Kurali Chairman Harish Rana was also present with him on this occasion.
SDM Kharar said that the Punjab government has taken big decisions to raise the level of education and due to these decisions, the students of government schools are being taught with state-of-the-art facilities on the lines of private schools. He said that the government has recruited about 20 thousand teachers to meet the shortage of teachers in government schools and the future of the students of School of Eminence is being brightened by providing them education in higher subjects like IAS, IPS, PCS and IIT.
He said that the Punjab government is carrying out all-round development by considering education and health as priority areas, due to which today there has been a huge increase in the enrollment of students in government schools and parents are taking their children out of private schools and getting them admitted in government schools.
He said that this step taken in the direction of education revolution is an important initiative of the Punjab government. On this occasion, Block Primary Education Officer Kamaljit Singh, the entire staff of School Kheda and School Majri and all the Gram Panchayats of both the villages were present.
