Specially to worship the Holy Triveni Deputy Commissioner Navjot Pal Singh Randhawa, ADC Rajeev Verma, Assistant Commissioner Gurleen Kaur (Field Officer Chief Minister Punjab), KC Group Chairman Prem Pal Gandhi, GGIO Founder Eng: Ashwini Kumar Joshi, Group Campus Director Dr. Avtar Chand Rana, GGIO Youth Director and Management College Head Ankush Nijhawan, Hotel Management Principal Dr. Baljit Kaur, Prof. Dr. Kuljinder Kaur, Eng. Harpreet Kaur, KC Public School Principal Asha Sharma along with All the staff of the college attended.
On the occasion of My Tree Day, about 200 saplings were planted by NSS unit volunteers in KC Group. DC Navjot Pal Singh Randhawa told the students and staff that even in countries where it was impossible to plant trees on desert lands, people have reduced the temperature by planting trees in their countries.
He said that we all have to reduce the temperature of our area and take care of them by planting trees. DC Randhawa said that Triveni has an important place in the medicinal and Ayurvedic field. Trees and plants provide clean air, food and shade to humans, while they provide food, shelter and shade to birds. So we all have a duty to plant a tree on every memorial day and follow it. Dr. AC Rana said that environmentalist and Rajya Sabha member Sant Balveer Singh Sinchewal, KC Group Chairman Prem Pal Gandhi and GGIO founder Eng. Done in July 2010. Since then, GGIO has been working on the philosophy of oxygen anchoring people by planting trees. It is worth mentioning that before the year 2010 all the days we celebrated globally or all global organizations were controlled by foreign countries. In view of this, environmentalist Ashwani Kumar Joshi founded the Go Green International Organization with the help of his environmental colleagues and started celebrating India's International My Tree Day from the last Sunday of July in 2010. This day is now celebrated all over the world on the last Sunday of July. Thanks to GGIO's awareness efforts, millions of people have started planting trees voluntarily. Hundreds of social service organizations are planting trees. On this occasion, DC, ADC, Chairman of KC Group, Campus Director and environmentalist Ashwani Joshi also planted commemorative saplings of Amla, Jamun, Guava, Jarkanda, Tun, Kadam etc.
