Haroli/Una, April 12 (Rajveer Chopra):— With the objective of providing better health facilities to workers, a successful two-day health camp was organized at Vardhman Steel Industry, Bathri, under the aegis of the 'MP Mobile Health Service' (Sansad Mobile Swasthya Seva). Organized by a society under the guidance and efforts of MP Anurag Thakur, the camp witnessed the participation of a large number of workers.
During the camp, a total of 175 workers underwent health screenings. In addition to general health check-ups, various essential diagnostic tests were conducted, and workers were provided with free medicines and health-related counseling.
The health team examined the workers on the spot, providing them with appropriate treatment and necessary medical advice. The team providing services at the camp was led by Dr. Pradeep, while Ruchi, Manish, and Nihal also played active roles in the initiative.
Through this initiative, workers were able to avail themselves of health facilities right at their workplace, a convenience for which they expressed their satisfaction and appreciation for the organizers.
The objective of the 'MP Mobile Health Service' is to extend health facilities not only to remote areas but also to employees working in industrial units, thereby ensuring that people from all sections of society can benefit from timely medical check-ups and treatment.
