Hansi: Students in Hansi organized a massive, peaceful protest march on Tuesday to protest against the suicides of NEET aspirants, alleged mismanagement in competitive examinations, and the lathi-charge on students demonstrating at Delhi's Jantar Mantar. During the march, students paid tribute to the deceased aspirants and demanded justice for the affected families. They also demanded the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.
The march was led by Lavkesh Sain. It saw the participation of a large number of students preparing for competitive exams, youths studying in various libraries, and concerned citizens. There was also significant participation from female students.
The march began at Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Chowk and concluded back at the same spot after passing through Barsi Gate, Umra Gate, and Jat Dharamshala. Throughout the route, students carried the Tricolour, raised slogans in support of democracy, education, and student rights, and registered their protest peacefully.
Speaking on the occasion, Lavkesh Sain stated that students across the country preparing for competitive exams are constantly facing mental stress, uncertainty, and alleged mismanagement. He described the incidents of suicide by NEET aspirants as deeply tragic and alarming, asserting that these cases must be investigated impartially and the guilty held accountable.
He also condemned the lathi-charge on students protesting at Jantar Mantar, stating that in a democracy, the voices of students should be heard through dialogue and sensitivity rather than the use of force. He emphasized that this movement does not belong to any political party but represents the voice of competitive exam aspirants and youth demanding transparency and justice in the education system.
Many students, including Hitesh Kagda, Dinesh Malik, Nishant, Sachin, Nisha, Sudesh, Kajal, Mannu, and Prince Yadav, were present at the march.

Key demands of the students:
1. Conduct an impartial investigation into the suicide cases of NEET aspirants and ensure justice for the affected families. 2. Competitive examinations should be made transparent, fair, and student-friendly.
3. A high-level inquiry should be conducted into the lathi-charge on students in Delhi, and action should be taken against those responsible.
4. Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan should resign from his post, accepting moral responsibility.
5. Students' issues should be resolved through dialogue, and necessary reforms should be implemented in the education system.
