Special Health Checkup Camp Organized for Preconception Women by Swasth Khand Haroli and MP Mobile Health Service Team

Haroli/Una, May 25 (Rajveer Chopra): Under the joint aegis of 'Swasth Khand Haroli' (Healthy Block Haroli) and the MP Mobile Health Service Team (Haroli), special health check-up camps for pre-conception women were successfully organized today. These camps were conducted at various Health and Wellness Centers, in accordance with the directives of the Block Medical Officer, Haroli, where essential health screenings and counseling services were provided to the women.
A total of 79 OPD registrations were recorded across the camps held today, and various essential blood tests—including CBC, RBS, HbA1c, VDRL, and TSH—were conducted for the women free of cost. The primary objective of these camps was to assess the health of women prior to conception and to raise their awareness regarding better health practices and safe motherhood.
These camps were organized at the Health and Wellness Centers located in Kuthar Beet, Pubowal, Nangal Kalan, Roda Baliwal, and Dharampur, where a large number of women availed themselves of the health services. The health team also provided the women with information regarding the importance of a balanced diet, regular health check-ups, and adopting a healthy lifestyle.
Dr. Pradeep Kumar of the MP Mobile Health Service Team (Haroli) stated that the team's primary objective is to extend superior healthcare facilities to women residing in rural areas. He added that the team is continuously visiting villages to provide healthcare services to the local population, ensuring that no needy individual has to travel long distances to access medical treatment or diagnostic services.
He further informed that such health camps would continue to be organized regularly in the future, thereby ensuring that women in rural regions receive timely health screenings and necessary medical treatment.
