Komal Mittal receives national recognition for good governance named among the countrys top 25 officers in the Best District Magistrate Survey2027 by Fame India Asia Post

Hoshiarpur- Madam Komal Mittal, Deputy Commissioner of Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar (Mohali), has achieved great achievements at the national level in the field of good governance, public service and administrative excellence. She has been included in the list of the 25 best district officers of the country in the Best District Magistrate Survey-2027 conducted by the famous rating magazine Fame India Asia Post.
The survey was conducted on the basis of the performance, public welfare works, innovations, development projects and good governance parameters of the administrative heads of about 800 districts across the country. In the first phase, 100 excellent district officers of the country were selected, after which, after a detailed evaluation, Madam Komal Mittal made her place in the top 25 district officers of the country.
Komal Mittal, an IAS officer of the year 2014 batch, is currently in charge of Mohali district. Under her leadership, the district administration has taken many important initiatives in the field of development, public welfare and administrative efficiency. In the rapidly developing Mohali district, she has given priority to prompt resolution of people's problems, transparent administration and effective delivery of government services.
Madam Mittal and others have made continuous efforts to strengthen the law and order as well as to address the challenges of increasing urbanization through infrastructure development, traffic management, environmental conservation and improvement of civic amenities. Transparency, accountability and public participation have been given special importance in her work style, which has been appreciated at all levels.
Earlier, she has served as SDM in Mukerian, Additional Commissioner in Amritsar Municipal Corporation, Additional Secretary in the Food and Civil Supplies Department of the Punjab Government and Deputy Commissioner in Hoshiarpur.
During her tenure in Hoshiarpur, Punjab's first digital library was established under her leadership. Apart from this, environmental conservation campaigns got a new direction and the district was also awarded the Best Green District. She has also done commendable work for crop diversification, women empowerment and the welfare of Divyang youth.
This achievement of Madam Komal Mittal is a matter of pride not only for Mohali but also for the entire Punjab. Various social, administrative and political organizations have congratulated her on this national achievement and wished her a bright future and continued public service.
