Hoshiarpur:- Keeping in mind the religious sentiments of the general public, District Magistrate Ashika Jain has declared a holiday on 6th February 2026, Friday, in all government/private schools, colleges and educational institutions on the road leading to the event venue from Garhshankar via Sri Anandpur Sahib Road and Garhshankar to Binewal Road in connection with the state-level event being celebrated at Khuralgarh Sahib, Tehsil Garhshankar on the 649th Parkash Utsav of Sri Guru Ravidass Maharaj Ji.
The orders issued in this regard have clarified that these holiday orders will not be applicable in those schools in which practical examinations of board classes are going on. These holiday orders will also not be applicable in colleges where the board/university/college examinations are being held on the said date.
