(Khuralgarh Sahib) Garhshankar:- A state-level function dedicated to the birth anniversary of Shri Guru Ravidass Maharaj Ji at Tap Asthan Shri Khuralgarh Sahib is being organized with great devotion, enthusiasm and brotherhood. To make this event of religious and social importance a success, the organizing committee as well as the Honorable Deputy Speaker of the Punjab Vidhan Sabha, Shri Rori, is also personally inviting people from village to village.
During this special campaign, Deputy Speaker Rori met the residents of the surrounding villages directly and informed them in detail about the importance of the event. He said that this state-level function is not only a religious function, but also a symbol of social unity, equality and strength of brotherhood.
Deputy Speaker Rori said in his address that the life and teachings of Shri Guru Ravidass Maharaj Ji are as relevant to today's society as they were in his time. Guru Ji rose above caste and discrimination by giving the message of humanity, love, equality and truth and laid the foundation of a united society.
He and the organizing committee appealed to the people to join this holy event along with their families and take the resolve to follow the path shown by Guru Ji.
During this, the representatives who went to the villages handed over invitation letters from house to house and informed the people about the schedule, dates and arrangements of the event. It was informed that arrangements for religious diwan, kirtan, discussion groups and a large langar will be made during the event, so that people from every class can participate in this holy event.
On this occasion, great enthusiasm was also seen from the villagers. People accepted the invitation letter and assured to attend the event in large numbers. The elders, youth and women said that the auspicious place of worship, Shri Khuralgarh Sahib, is the center of their faith and they consider it their good fortune to attend the state-level function held here.
