Chargesheet filed against seven terrorists in Pahalgam attack with evidence of Pakistans involvement

New Delhi: The National Investigation Agency on Monday filed a chargesheet in the Pahalgam terror attack case, naming seven accused including Pakistan-based Lashkar-e-Taiba and The Resistance Front terrorist organisations.
The chargesheet sheds light on Pakistan's conspiracy behind the horrific terror attack, the roles of the accused and the evidence in the case. The central probe agency has accused TRF as a legal entity that planned, facilitated and executed the attack that claimed 26 lives.
The chargesheet has called the attack a "religion-based targeted killing by Pakistan-sponsored terrorists".
The NIA said, "The chargesheet, which details Pakistan's conspiracy, the roles of the accused and supporting evidence in the case, has indicted the banned Lashkar/TRF as a legal entity for its role in planning, facilitating and executing the Pahalgam attack. The attack, which involved religiously motivated targeted killings by Pak-sponsored terrorists, resulted in the deaths of 25 tourists and a local citizen."

Who are the names in the chargesheet?
The NIA has named Pakistani handler terrorist Sajid Jatt as an accused in the 1,597-page chargesheet filed in the NIA Special Court in Jammu. Along with him, the NIA chargesheet names three Pakistani terrorists killed by Indian security forces in Operation Mahadev in Srinagar's Dachigam in July 2025, weeks after the deadly terror attack. These three have been identified as Faisal Jatt alias Suleman Shah, Habib Tahir alias Jibran and Hamza Afghani.
