Big Success for Karnal Police in Cement Bags Theft Case Third Absconding Accused Arrested
Karnal, 05 August:- District Police Karnal, while taking effective action on property-related crimes, has succeeded in arresting the third accused who was absconding in the case of theft of cement bags. Under Police Station City Karnal, the team of Police Post Sector-4, under the leadership of Post In-charge Sub-Inspector Himmat Singh, arrested the accused Azad son of Chhotekha resident of Ratwaka, District Alwar (Rajasthan) from the area of District Faridabad. Earlier in this case, the other accomplices of the accused Jakam and Wahid have already been arrested.
Giving information about the case, Investigating Officer Head Constable Sultan Singh said that a case was registered at Police Station City Karnal on the complaint of complainant Rakesh Kumar.
According to the complainant, he has a transport office in New Grain Market, Karnal. He had loaded 860 cement bags in a truck and dispatched it for the destination. On unloading the goods at the designated place, 99 cement bags were found short. Apart from this, other goods were also found missing from the vehicle.
Considering the seriousness of the case, the police immediately started investigation. During investigation, two other accomplices of the accused Jakam and Wahid were arrested earlier. On the basis of continuous raids and technical investigation, now the third absconding accused Azad has also been arrested.
The arrested accused was produced before the Hon'ble Court and taken on two days police remand. After thorough interrogation of the accused, today on completion of the remand period, he was again produced before the Hon'ble Court and sent to judicial custody.
