Voter awareness seminar conducted at Government School Karnana under sweep activities

A voter awareness seminar was organized under the sweep activities under the leadership of Government Senior Secondary School Karnana Incharge Jaswant Singh.

Satnam Singh, Nodal Officer of Sweep, Hardeep Kaur, Assistant Professor, Department of Politics, BLM Girls College, Nawanshahr, and Unkar Singh, Computer Faculty, participated as keynote speakers in this seminar. They presented their ideas to educate the students about votes. Satnam Singh declared it mandatory for the students to cast their vote and also encouraged them to exercise their vote and said that as citizens of India, the students must exercise their right to vote and cast their vote. To build because in the future only the youth can maintain the country's democracy. He said that the students in and around their villages should vote and ask each and every person to exercise their right to vote in the upcoming elections and under the Election Commission's slogan "This time 70 par" of district Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar. Cooperate and make every effort to cross the voting turnout of 75. Assistant Professor Hardeep Kaur also informed the students about the statistics of vote polling that women vote more than men and therefore as a citizen it is the personal duty of every person to exercise their right to vote. Experiments must be done so that a strong democracy can be established and also the students were motivated to contribute in the field of education as well.
On this occasion, the role of stage management was well played by Vipan Kumar District Vocational Coordinator. School Incharge Jaswant Singh thanked the visiting keynote speakers and encouraged the students to conduct a vote poll each. Computer faculty Unkar Singh gave voter's oath to the students. Balvir Singh, Amarinder Singh, Dinesh Gautam, Sukhwinder Kaur, Saroj Rani, Veena Rani, Devanshu Sohal, Kuljit Sunar, Sheela Rani, Sham Lal etc. were present on this occasion.
