
Hindi Diwas was celebrated in Khalsa College Mahilpur.
Hoshiarpur:- Hindi Diwas was organized by the teachers and students of the Hindi Department under the leadership of Principal Dr. Parvinder Singh at Shri Guru Gobind Singh Khalsa College Mahilpur. On this occasion, Professor Sunil Kumar, Head of the Hindi Department of Guru Nanak Dev University, participated as the main speaker, while Dr. Neelu Sharma, Head of the Hindi Department of Ramgarhia College Phagwara, participated as a special speaker.

On this occasion, Dr. Deepak, Head of the Hindi Department, presented his views on the importance of Hindi Diwas and informed about the personalities present during the ceremony and told about the activities of the Hindi Department.
Sharing the welcome words of the ceremony, Dr. J. B. Sekhon, Head of the Punjabi Department, said that in a multilingual country like India, every language has its own unique beauty. He inspired the students to learn as many languages ??as possible, read quality literature and actively participate in multilingual dialogue. The special speaker of the ceremony, Dr. Neelu Sharma, spoke about the employment opportunities in the study of Hindi language.
He shared his views on getting employment in media, translation, teaching and other departments through the study of Hindi language, literature and culture. On this occasion, the main speaker of the ceremony, Professor Sunil Kumar, said that every language of India is the national language due to its unique history, but Hindi has a special status as the national language due to its history, public acceptance and deep connection with Indian culture.
He said that there should be no politics over language because every regional language is a symbol of the unity and integrity of India which does not separate man from man, but connects him. He gave examples of ancient, medieval and modern literature written in Hindi and shared valuable ideas about the Indian sensibility that has appeared in this language from time to time.
He inspired the students to study every language and culture including Hindi by giving a message of universal brotherhood. College Principal Dr. Parvinder Singh shared words of gratitude and said that in today's materialistic era, only language, art and literature can protect human values.
On this occasion, the college administrators honored the personalities present. MA student Kajal conducted the proceedings of the stage. On this occasion, Principal Dr. Rohtansh, litterateur Baljinder Mann, Dr. Raj Kumar, Dr. Parminder Kaur, Professor Nancy, Dr. Vikrant Rana, Dr. Komal, Prof. Ashok Kumar, Dr. Rajinder Prasad and many students were present.
